CHELSEA ON A ROLLER-COASTER. IMPRESSIVE SWANSEA

Eden Hazard seems to be the “magic-wand” RDM is using presently to display good footballing practice in Chelsea that which Roman Abrahamovic have craved for all this years. Chelsea fans in Lagos now have a slogans that they recite and say with so much swag; “Eden Wizard”. Eden Wizard, oops! Eden Hazard have carved a niche for himself in the Chelsea’s midfield and formed a good partnership with Fernando Torres having between them  four goals out of the eight goals Chelsea has a team have scored so far this season doing much prettier than their neighbor Arsenal.

Eden Hazard might just be that guy that would help Fernando Torres revive his goal scoring form and also help Chelsea contest for the Barclay’s Premier league this season.

An impressive win against Newcastle on Saturday was the finest performance so far this season putting them on the number one position having played a game more with Man city and Man utd not close to them at all. It will be a tongue-licking feeling for Chelsea’s fans if table ends like this come May 2013 but undoubtedly, Chelsea indeed is on a roller-coaster.

Swansea looked like a team that wouldn’t be able to cause any havoc at the beginning of EPL 2012/2013 season but they have proved everyone wrong with an impressive start netting eight goals and conceding none against QPR and West ham.
The opposition they have played might not be any of the top six clubs in the EPL but we shouldn’t forget so soon that last season, they defeated Man city, Arsenal and Liverpool and shared points with Chelsea and Tottenham at the Liberty stadium leaving Man utd as the only top club that defeated them last season; a narrow win which it was under the tutelage of Brendan Rodgers now Liverpool gaffer.

Micheal Laudrup’s men seem to be sending signals to the other teams but will these Cinderella run of theirs last long? They are a very organized team, they passed the ball around well and make use of their wide players, the pair of Nathan Dyer and Wayne Routledge which has really paid off well.  Too early to predict Swansea’s expedition for this season but they have been impressive so far.
